  6. Chromium in onions helps in regulating blood sugar by triggering increased insulin production, which might be helpful to those with diabetes.
  7. They also contain Vitamin C which help improve immunity; fiber and folic acid
  8. Sulfides in onions contain necessary amino acids which assist with protein synthesis and building of cell structures.
  9. The fiber in onions promotes good digestion and promotes good bacteria growth in the intestinesfound that daily consumption of onions improves bone density in women who are going through or have finished menopause.
