The RAW-Exclusive pay-per-view, WWE No Mercy 2017, is moving to the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Sunday, September 24 2017. This is the 13th show in the event’s chronology and it could be one of the hottest to be held. The fixtures feature hard collision matches between great ‘WWE world powers’. History is ready to take a new note.
The No Mercy matches are:
The Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar would defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. The title had been retained by Lesnar at SummerSlam after defeating Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns in a chaotic four-way free-for-all. Strowman who attacked Lesnar during his victory appearance the next night, left the latter lying on the ring.
John Cena and Roman Reigns
After a powerful showdown as a tag team against The Miz and Samoa Joe, John Cena and Roman Reigns seem to be the BIG FIGHT at No Mercy following a contract-signing for a match. Their heated argument of words has continued on Twitter. Cena made a sudden return to RAW, TO STAND TOE-TO-TOE with Roman Reigns. It is going to be an explosive clash between two great forces.
RAW Women’s Championship
The RAW Women’s Championship has become a fatal four-way match. Sasha Banks who has invoked for her championship rematch at No Mercy has more than one contender to fight. Nia Jax and Emma, after winning Banks and Alexa Bliss in a tag team match, have been added to the title match by Kurt Angle.
RAW Tag Team Championship
After losing the RAW Tag Team Championship to Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, Cesaro and Sheamus invoked their championship rematch for No Mercy. The battle had ensued with Cesaro defeating Rollins who got distracted by Sheamus, and Sheamus losing to Ambrose after Rollins interfered.
Finn Balór and Bray Wyatt
Finn Balór accepted a challenge from Bray Wyatt at No Mercy. Wyatt caused Balór’s elimination from the contender match for Intercontinental Championship (where Wyatt was not involved in the match). His interference may have come from his defeat to Balór at SummerSlam.
The Cruiserweight Championship
Neville will be defending his Cruiserweight championship against Enzo Amore. Amore was moved to the cruiserweight division and made a great remark by defeating Noam Dar in his first cruiserweight division match. Neville revealed that the winner of a fatal five-way elimination match would face him at No Mercy for the Cruiserweight Championship. Amore emerged winner in the fight against Gran Metalix, Cedric Alexander, Tony Nese and The Brian Kendrick.
