KAJURU: The castle on a hill

Kajuru Castle has been in existence since 1981. Made of very thick granite stone, it took five years to raise the magnificent structure with turrets, armory and dungeon.

Located on the mountains of Kajuru, it remains a hidden treasure and secret of Kaduna State, Nigeria. The castle was opened in 1989 and has a breathtaking medieval and dungeon-styled décor.

It houses a guest tower of four rooms, referred to as dungeons, a central building with an authentic knights` hall and a master suite (landlord`s residence`) as well as a dragon tower secured by `dragons`. The stainless swimming pool, a BBQ spot for grilling, roasting, baking and barbecuing activities are thrilling.

Its remote location and topography make hiking a part of the fun to get there. Of course, the castle is not void of crocodiles (dragons).

The castle’s beauty is one that the eyes can never get enough of. It is not just fit for the tourist but also the best home-away-from-home for anyone.

Kajuru Castle is a stunning beauty to behold!
